Ending AIDS by 2030 is Achievable! But we need your help.
Make a gift today!
HIV/AIDS is no longer just a health care issue.
It's a social issue.
It’s a hunger issue.
It’s an issue of homelessness.
It’s a substance use issue.
It’s an economic issue.
If we're going to end this epidemic, we need to fully address the root causes: poverty, access to health care, access to healthy food, housing insecurity, and more.
Here at Iris House, we tackle these issues. Make a gift today!
Your donation helps us save and improve the lives of women and their families facing these challenges. On behalf of the 7,000+ people helped by Iris House last year, thank you for your consideration and your generosity.
There are many ways you can help the women and families served by Iris House. Your gift helps:
$25 prepare a Food Pantry bag and ingredients for 10 meals.
$50 educate a client with healthy food information so they boost their immune system, improve their diabetes, and/or reduce their obesity.
$100 provide Metrocards to allow a woman to get to and from her doctor's appointments throughout the year.
$150 move someone newly diagnosed with HIV into care.
$250 ensure that a person is retained in care with peer-driven support and emotional wellness groups.
$500 encourage and refer an HIV+ woman to programs/services so they can achieve viral suppression through care coordination and treatment adherence.

Other Ways You Can Help
CORPORATE AFFINITY GROUPS AND MATCHING PROGRAMS
Work for a company that has corporate affinity groups? Women? People of Color? LGBTQI? We would be delighted to come speak to them about our work and how they can help us truly make a difference.
IN-KIND ITEMS
Iris House only accepts 1- 2 bags of seasonal clothing and footwear Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm. We are no longer picking up donations.
GIFTS FOR CLIENTS
Several times a year, particularly around Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving and the Winter Holidays, Iris House’s Food and Nutrition Department throws special luncheons for our clients. In addition to having a menu inspired by holiday traditions, we like to give clients small gifts: hair or beauty products, feel good items, new clothing, etc. If you have access to 100-150 items that might make a thoughtful takeaway, we would deeply appreciate them.
HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR CHILDREN
Every year we throw a huge holiday party for the children, grandchildren and other dependents of our clients. The party is generously supported by individual donors who’ve made it their own priority to ensure that the space, food, games, and decorations are available. We have been lucky in the support of this program by individuals, companies, non-profits, schools and other groups who have donated hundreds of unwrapped toys so that each of the children we serve gets some holiday goodies to take home with them! Join them by making a gift of unwrapped toys this year!
For specific information on this program, please contact Kimberly Richardson at (646) 548-0100 Ext. 221 or email her at [email protected].
