Condoms and Outreach

Iris House provides free male and female condoms, lube and other safe sex tools at any of our facilities in New York or New Jersey. 

Between 2007 and 2012, Iris House distributed more than 5.5 million free condoms through a network of more than 200 businesses and venues in New York City. Though Iris House no longer participates directly in this program, we continue to encourage condom use and make a list of places where clients can get male and female condoms for free, including in our offices. Iris House continues to conduct outreach at high risk areas in East/Central Harlem and the South Bronx disseminating safer sex kits which include; male condoms, a female condom, lubricant, information about PrEP/PEP and services we provide.  Please visit the New York City Department of Health’s Condom Information page for more information.
